Theresa Baumgärtner was born in 1987 in Hamburg and lives with her family in Luxembourg. She completed a master’s degree in culture and economics in Mannheim and thus followed her heart professionally. Growing up in a large family, where many passionate hobby chefs and gourmets gathered around the table, Theresa has been searching for the unadulterated taste of her ingredients since childhood and particularly appreciates the simple, loving cuisine. Her travels to producers and visits to markets are a constant source of inspiration for new culinary ideas. Theresa Baumgärtner is a successful cookbook author, writes and photographs as a columnist for magazines and works as a freelance presenter and author for television. Twice a month she cooks in the ARD-Buffet.
In her unique cottage “Hazelnut House”, surrounded by a breathtaking natural landscape in the east of Luxembourg, the passionate hostess regularly welcomes international guests to various occasions. Whether for exquisite parties, special cooking workshops with friends or for strategic team meetings, each event is designed by Theresa Baumgärtner with great attention to detail and remains an unforgettable memory for the participants. Theresa is convinced that happiness lies in all the little things and details that touch our hearts. In her workshops she focuses on all this, and in keeping with the seasons, conveys to hobby chefs her lifestyle and philosophy of a simple, loving and natural cuisine.
